It’s snowing outside, and I’m sipping a steaming mug of cocoa and warming my toes by the fire. Isn’t it just a wonderful feeling to be warm and cosy in winter?

There is so much happening at the North Pole. Everybody is busy with something. <> baked hundreds of star-shaped cookies. A few of the elves helped decorate them with lemon icing and sparkles. The reindeer and I tasted them and can honestly say that they are very delicious. The rest of the elves have been making presents around the clock. I even spotted the [Present] you’re hoping for in Workshop Five. Apart from tasting cookies, the reindeer have been very busy training for the upcoming trip around the world. It’s incredible how fast they can fly!

The elves and I wondered if we can be just as fast and had a little fun with our sledges. We went up the biggest hill we could find and sledged down as fast as we could. Ah, the reindeer thought that was very funny. Of course, we were nowhere close to as fast as the magical reindeer, but it sure was fun to try.

Has it been snowing in [HomeTown] too? Then [Friends Name] and you can also sledge, or perhaps you prefer to build a snowman. Building snowmen is also a lot of fun, no matter how old you are. It is fun at my age, but just as much fun at [Age Range] old. Don’t you agree? Oh, that reminds me, I received a letter from [Relative Name] just the other day. I enjoyed reading about your [Acheivement] and was very impressed. Well done for once again being on my Nice List!

Santa and his Fluffy Blanket

Did I ever tell you about one of my favourite things to do over the Christmas season? I don’t think I have, so go ask [Relative Name] to help you make a cup of hot cocoa or maybe even some yummy tea, and then snuggle up with a fluffy blanket while you read my letter together.

You see, my favourite thing is exactly that. I love drinking hot cocoa on very cold days with my fluffy blanket. That blanket was a gift from <> many years ago, and l make sure to look after it as best as I can. When I’m all cuddled up on my favourite chair, the elves and the reindeer and even our pets, Molly, the cat, and Bubba, the dog, come join me. Every night, one of the elves picks a book to read, and then we spend the evening reading together. Do [Friends Name] and you also like reading together?

Last night, we read the story about Rudolph and his red nose. Poor little Rudolph hated that red nose, but once he realised how wonderful it was, he loved it instead. It’s one of my favourite Christmas stories. Then again, I like all Christmas stories. Do you have a favourite one to read? I do hope so.

Perhaps you could write me a letter and tell me which story it is. Don’t forget to let me know if your Christmas wish is still a [Present]. [Relative Name] already told me about your [Acheivement], but maybe you could tell me a bit more about it too! It is mighty cold outside, and I thought I’d come in for a quick cup of hot cocoa and read my letters from all over the world. I’m always excited to receive mail from [HomeTown]. I must thank you for your beautiful letter, my dear [Boy/Girl]. It really did make me smile. I took it into the workshop to show all the elves. Even Pippa, the elf working on your present, said how wonderfully written it was. She can’t believe that you’re already [Age Range] old. I told her all about your [Acheivement], and she said that she would make extra sure that your present is extra special this year, am I correct in thinking you would like a [Present]?

Did you know that each elf has specific children they always make gifts for? Pippa has been making you presents ever since you were very little. Now, little Poppy makes all the presents for your friend, [Friends Name]. There is also Perry, Percy, Polly, Penny, Pinkie, Percival, and Paisley. They make presents for all the other good boys and girls in [HomeTown]. When the elves have finished making all the special gifts, each elf wraps the gift as best they can. Paisley likes using colourful paper. Polly loves sparkly ribbons. And Pippa… well, you’ll have to wait till Christmas to see!

Speaking of Christmas, are you looking forward to the festive season? I know [Relative Name] and you always have the most wonderful time. It’s so important to spend Christmas with our loved ones and friends. And even if we can’t spend it with them, we can always write a letter or send a little present to show we care. Playing with the reindeers with Santa

Isn’t the festive season just the best time of the year? Oh, we sure do love it here at the North Pole. Of course, we work very hard all year round to make sure the good boys and girls all over the world get presents for Christmas. After all, the children work hard the whole year too. [Relative Name] told me all about your [Acheivement]. Well done, my dear [Boy/Girl], you really do deserve a [Present] under the tree this year. But, you know, with all that hard work, it’s important to play too. I know that [Friends Name] and you always have fun playing and that makes me very happy indeed.

We’ve been having the most wonderful day filled with fun and games here too. The reindeer showed the elves all their new flying tricks. They even took some of the elves on little flights all over the North Pole. They flew up and down and in circles. The reindeer flew upside down with poor little Poppy, the elf. Boy, she got so dizzy, she had to sit down and sip cocoa for at least 20 minutes. Dizzy or not, Poppy said she hadn’t had this much fun in ages and asked the reindeer to take her on another trip! Prancer wanted to take <> flying, but she said that she’d rather stick to making Christmas pudding. <> doesn’t like flying one bit, but luckily, I love flying with the reindeer. And, of course, we’ll be making a stop in [HomeTown] soon.

My dear [First name], I must run now and see if all the reindeer and elves are back from their flying adventures. <> has baked a pie, and I’m sure they’re all very hungry by now. Decorating the North Pole

Oh, my dear [Boy/Girl], I must tell you about the most exciting day we’ve had!

Early this morning, <> brought the elves and me mugs of steaming hot cocoa. You see, it’s getting very cold here at the North Pole, and the hot cocoa sure does help warm up the insides. The reindeer prefer warm milk with honey, so they got some of that instead. Of course, <> also had cookies for everyone. After we feasted, it was time to get to work. Today was Decorate the North Pole Day!

First, we decorated <>’ kitchen with tinsel and the most beautiful golden stars. Then we decorated the living room with little toy reindeer and put up the most magical Christmas tree. The elves were being naughty and kept hiding the baubles behind the cushions of my favourite chair. Luckily, I found all of them and put them back on the tree. Next, we decorated the elves’ workshop until every corner glittered and sparkled. Even the reindeer got in on the fun and decorated all the trees in the forest with tinsel and stars and sparkling baubles. Ah, the North Pole is looking very festive indeed.

Have [Relative Name] and you decorated your home yet? Did [Friends Name] help you too? I heard about what good friends you are. That is why you are both on my Nice List again this year. Reindeer training with Santa

Here at the North Pole, we’re in full Christmas swing. <> has been baking mince pies around the clock. Do [Friends Name] and you also like mince pies as much as I do? You know, even the reindeer love mince pies. <> makes sure they don’t eat too many, but I tell her they need all the strength they can get for their upcoming trip around the world.

The reindeer are so excited about this year’s trip. They’ve heard all about how festive [HomeTown] is looking, and they can’t wait to visit! As I’m sure you can imagine, Christmas is their favourite time of the year. They spend the entire year preparing for it, and they eat as well as they can. Well, except for all those mince pies. They also practise flying at least three times a day. studying the best flying routes, with Prancer also working on his landing technique. It really is quite an extraordinary achievement. With all that hard work, they sure would appreciate it if you could leave some carrots or even some cookies out for them on Christmas Eve. They really have earned it!

Speaking of achievements, <> and I were especially pleased to hear about your [Acheivement]. For a [Boy/Girl] who is only [Age Range] old, that really is quite remarkable. I’m sure [Relative Name] is just as proud of you as we are. Please, do keep up the good work! Snowing at the North Pole

The elves woke me up very early this morning. You see, they were very excited because it had been snowing all night, and everything was covered with a thick layer of fresh snow. That fresh, fluffy snow is the best, don’t you agree? I hope it snows in [HomeTown] soon.

We have been working around the clock these last few weeks. After all, we have important presents to finish. Just yesterday, the elves were putting the finishing touches to the [Present] you asked for, so continue to be a good [Boy/Girl] this year and I hope to bring it to you at Christmas.

This morning when the elves showed us all the fresh snow, <> and I decided that today was going to be a day off. It was time to have some fun outside! Do [Friends Name] and you also like to play in the snow?

Introducing the reindeer

It has just occurred to me that I have never told you about my reindeer. Of course, you know all about Rudolph and his red nose. He makes sure that we see exactly where we’re going on our journey around the world on Christmas Eve. But, my dear [Boy/Girl], what about all the other reindeer?

Well, there is Dasher. He’s the fastest reindeer, and he helps lead the way with Rudolph. Dasher knows all the best routes to take, and he always knows when [HomeTown] is coming up. Then there is Prancer. Prancer loves making sure that everything is done just right. He’s also the one that likes checking in on the elves in the workshop. That’s how I know the elves are working on your [Present] today!

Vixen loves to fly and practises new tricks every day. I’ve never seen a reindeer so talented at flying. Did you know that Vixen started flying when she was your age? That’s right, [Age Range] old. She reminds me a lot that you [Acheivement]. Our lovable Cupid loves Christmas cookies more than anything in the world. He’ll often have a tummy ache because he ate too many of <>’ mince pies. Poor Cupid.

Then we have Dancer and Donner. Dancer loves to dance, while Donner loves to sing. Currently, they are singing and dancing to Jingle Bells. And, finally, we have Blitzen and Comet. Blitzen is the timekeeper. He makes sure that we always arrive at exactly the right time when we journey around the world. Comet is the happy one. He makes sure that everybody always gets along and is happy.

Ah, I really do have the best reindeer. They are such wonderful friends, and every single one of them has an important job to do. And you know what? I wouldn’t be able to do my job and be [Santa Claus] without them! So, my dear [Boy/Girl], I would be so grateful if you could ask [Relative Name] to put some carrots out for the reindeer on Christmas Eve. They really do deserve some treats.

I must say, I’ve had some pretty good hot chocolate in [HomeTown] too, but please don’t tell <> I said that. Ah, drinking hot chocolate is a wonderful thing, don’t you think?

On cold days, it’s also wonderful to respond to letters. Did you know that I receive letters from all over the world? Can you believe that I sometimes even get letters from grown-ups too? I just received a letter from [Relative Name] and heard about your [Acheivement]. <> and I are very proud of you, my dear [Boy/Girl]. Keep it up!

There is much excitement here as we get ready to celebrate Christmas. Everybody is working super hard. It seems like <> never stops baking. She has just put another batch of mince pies in the oven. They do smell very delicious, I must say. The reindeer are working on new flying tricks. Every year, they like to surprise me with a new trick or two. It’s loads of fun. And the elves? Well, the elves are hammering and sawing and painting around the clock. When I peeped into the workshop earlier today, I saw them putting the finishing touches on your present. You see, the reindeer and I have been working on our flying skills all day. After all, we want to make sure that we are ready for the journey around the world soon. There have been so many good children this year, and we have many homes to visit. Of course, we will also be visiting [HomeTown]!

<> and I just had a look at my Nice List, and guess what? You, my dear [Boy/Girl], have made it onto my list again. I also know that you have asked for a [Present], let me see what I can do to get this to you at Christmas. They heard that you [Acheivement], and we all agreed that you deserve an extra special present this year. At [Age Range] old, that really is wonderful.

Did you know that the reindeer practise their flying skills every single day? They take their job very seriously. <> always makes sure that they have the most delicious carrots to eat so that they can see perfectly when we fly at night. Carrots are very healthy. Of course, <> also bakes special reindeer Christmas cookies for them. They do love eating those. Today, Comet ate too many cookies and got a tummy ache. But don’t worry, he had a little nap and is feeling much better now. Eating too many cookies is never a good idea.

Speaking of cookies, <> just brought me a plate of freshly baked ones to dunk into my hot cocoa. I must remember to not eat all of them though. Do [Friends Name] and you also enjoy Christmas treats? Perhaps you could ask [Relative Name] to leave some cookies and milk for me on Christmas Eve, and perhaps a carrot or two for the reindeer. We would be most grateful.

Decorating the Christmas Tree

Oh, what a wonderful day we had at the North Pole! Today we put up our Christmas tree. What a festive occasion that was.

First, the elves and I selected the most perfect tree. We loaded it on to our sleigh and the reindeer helped us get it home. It was very heavy, but the reindeer have been training all year, so they are very, very strong. While we were gone, <> got the decorations out. Even the elves are counting the days. They love Christmas and making presents more than anything in the world. Although, I do think they like teasing the reindeer and pinching freshly baked cookies from the kitchen too. Poor <> never knows where all the cookies have gone! I must say, <> is an excellent baker. I may have enjoyed a cookie or two earlier today as well.

When the elves are not pinching cookies and teasing the reindeer, they spend as much time in the workshop as they can. They have so much fun making presents. Every year, the elves look forward to hearing what presents all the good boys and girls in the world are hoping for. When I told them that you would like a [Present], they got very excited. They really do want to make your gift extra special this year. After all, [Relative Name] told us all about you [Acheivement]. Ho, ho, ho, what a wonderful Christmas it already is! We are having a jolly good time here at the North Pole. Every day is filled with cheer and joy and all the good things that make Christmas special. Are [Relative Name] and you feeling the Christmas spirit in [HomeTown] already? I hope so!

The elves have been hammering, sawing and painting around the clock. They are creating the most amazing presents this year. The reindeer have been a bit silly today. They were playing hide and seek in <>’ pantry. Prancer was running around like crazy and crashed into the big sacks of flour. Don’t worry, he didn’t hurt himself. His antlers got hooked on the bags, though, and he got covered in white flour. Poor Prancer got such a fright and ran out into the woods. He didn’t like being a white, flour-coated reindeer one bit! The elves had to go search for him and bring him home. <> ran him a big bubble bath, and now Prancer is back to his normal brown reindeer colour again.

My dear [Boy/Girl], I am having such a good time writing you a letter, but I must get back to polishing my boots soon. Before I go though, I wanted to tell you how proud I am of you. <> told me all about [Acheivement], this is so lovely to hear for someone that is already [Age Range] old!

Elves sledging competition

I have had the most wonderful morning and just must share the news with you, my dear [Boy/Girl]. Can you believe it? The elves decided to hold their very own Christmas sledging competition. It was incredible!

The elves woke up super early and set everything up. They even packed the sledges with Christmas presents to make sure it was a real Christmas sledging adventure. <> made sure everyone had some warm milk and a Christmas cookie or two. I may have had a few additional cookies, but we won’t tell <> that. When the competition finally started, the reindeer and I cheered the elves on. It was wonderful. Everyone was so happy and excited. I must say, all my elves did really well, and I am very proud of them indeed.

I am also very proud of you, [First name]. [Relative Name] told me all about your [Acheivement]. At [Age Range] old that truly is a fantastic achievement. Well done! I am happy to tell you that you are once again on my nice list. Are you still hoping for a [Present]? I wanted to write you an extra special letter to let you know what has been happening here at the North Pole. [Relative Name] told me how much you are looking forward to Christmas, the most wonderful time of the year.

Everyone is working really hard to make sure it’s a very Merry Christmas. The elves have been making the most amazing presents in the workshop. I did hear the elves saying that you were hoping for [Present], please do continue to be a good [Boy/Girl] and I hope to bring this to you this year. <> and I were discussing the naughty and nice lists. Yesterday, the elves put on a very special Christmas ice skating performance. They have been practising ice skating for weeks. I was impressed with all the fantastic tricks they could do. The reindeer even forgot to munch on their carrots because they were so amazed. It truly was a spectacular show. Afterwards, <> made hot chocolate for everyone. It really is wonderful to drink hot chocolate when the snow is falling. Is it already snowing in [HomeTown]? Christmas snow is the best, don’t you think?

Santa, the snowman, the elves

My dear [Boy/Girl], finally I have a chance to sit in my favourite chair and write you a letter. You see, I was outside building the most wonderful snowman with the elves. It was a great big, beautiful snowman, much taller than I am. The elves and I had so much fun, I didn’t even realise that I got snow in my boots. Then again, it is possible that one of the elves scooped snow into my boots when I wasn’t looking. The elves can be very naughty at times. Either way, my dear [First name], I now have very wet socks and very cold feet.

Thank goodness <> made sure the fireplace is roaring so I can warm my feet and dry my socks. Wet socks are not fun at all, don’t you agree? <> said that she would bring me a mug of warm cocoa and one of my favourite mince pies that she has been baking for Christmas. What is your favourite festive treat?

I heard about your wonderful [Acheivement]. That is quite something for a [Boy/Girl] who is only [Age Range] old. [Relative Name] must be very proud of you. Well done [First name], keep up the good work. I also heard about how lovely you are to [Friends Name]. It is very important to be nice to the people around you, oh and you should never scoop snow into your friend’s boot!

Santa Delivering Letters

What a wonderful morning it has been! You see, the post box here at the North Pole almost burst because it had so many letters in it. I have never seen so many letters arrive all at the same time. Thank goodness the elves helped me carry them back to the workshop. I would have never been able to do it on my own. They helped me pile the bags of letters next to my favourite chair in front of the fireplace. <> promised to bring me a mug of warm milk while I sit down to read and respond to them all.

Getting letters from all the good boys and girls all over the world makes me incredibly happy. But did you know that I also get letters from grown-ups too? [Relative Name] sent me a letter telling me what a good [Boy/Girl] you have been. I also heard all about your [Acheivement]. What fantastic news that is, especially since you are only [Age Range] old. Well done, [First name], well done indeed.

At the North Pole, the reindeer have been working on their flying skills. They are also eating lots of carrots to build up their strength for Christmas Eve. They need all the extra strength because we have so many presents this year.

My oh my, I am not used to this hot weather, I prefer the cold snowy hills of the North Pole, however it is great to get some rest and relaxation on holiday before my busy season later this year.

The reindeers and I have been spending most of our time at the beach building sandcastles and out surfing in the ocean. When we are on holiday we love spending time in the water and give our sleigh a well-earned rest.
